Attainment of Eligibilitv. Positions on the eligible register shall be attained as a result of the combined scores on the written examination, promotional evaluation rating and seniority. Candidates must receive a paSSIng score of 70 or better on the written examination in order to be eligible for further proceSSIng. In the event of ties, candidates shall be listed in order of their Department seniority and in the event of equal seniority by lot.
