Authorization for Payroll Deduction for Association Dues and Fees. During the life of this Agreement or any extension thereof, the University agrees to deduct Association dues or fair-share agency fees levied in accordance with the bylaws of the Association from the pay of each member of the bargaining unit who, through the Treasurer of the Association, executes a standard form prepared for “Authorization for Payroll Deduction of Association Dues and Fees” deductions. By not later than August 1 each year, the Association shall provide to the University a rate schedule adopted in its governing board for initiation fees, professional dues, and fair-share agency fees, as well as an electronic list of all dues-paying members, annually and as changes occur, for use in implementing the provisions of this Article. Any submitted Authorization for Payroll Deduction of Association Dues and Fees form which is incomplete or in error will be returned to the Treasurer of the Association. In the event that a bargaining-unit member elects to contribute to the Xxxxxxx’x University scholarship or research funds, the University agrees to make appropriate regular deductions.

Any submitted Authorization for Dues and Fees Deduction form which is incomplete or in error will be returned to the treasurer of the Association.

  • PROFESSIONAL DUES OR FEES AND PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS 5.1 Any unit member who is a member of the Association, or who has applied for membership, may sign and deliver to the District an assignment authorizing deduction of unified membership dues, initiation fees, and general assessments of the Association. Pursuant to such authorization, the District shall deduct one-tenth of such dues from the regular salary check of the bargaining unit member each month for ten (10) months. Deductions for bargaining unit members who sign such authorization after the commencement of the school year shall be appropriately pro-rated to complete payments by the end of the school year.

For Dues paying members, The District shall deduct one-twelfth (1/12) of dues and representation fee from the regular salary check of the unit member each month for twelve (12) months. Deductions for unit members who begin paid service after the commencement of the school year shall be prorated based on percentage of employment. Unit members serving one-half time paid service or less shall pay one-half of the dues and representation fee.

  • Other Payroll Deductions In addition to the above, the City will deduct from an employee's payroll check, upon authorization by the employee, amounts payable to causes or organizations selected by the Union. At any one time, no more than ten (10) such causes or organizations may be identified by the Union as authorized to benefit from such payroll deductions unless otherwise authorized by the City in its sole discretion.   • Authorization for Deductions The City shall deduct Association dues, initiation fees, premiums for insurance programs and political action fund contributions from an employee's pay upon receipt by the Controller of a form authorizing such deductions by the employee. The City shall pay over to the designated payee all sums so deducted. Upon request of the Association, the Controller agrees to meet with the Association to discuss and attempt to resolve issues pertaining to delivery of services relating to such deductions.
