Benefit Information and Coverage. (a) Where the University has agreed to provide personnel benefits under the Extended Health, Dental, Group Life Insurance, and Pension Plans and where the amount of the coverage for a particular benefit was in effect as of April 1, 1999 or is subsequently negotiated by the parties, these benefits and amount of the coverage will not be changed except by mutual agreement, or as required by Pension legislation.

  • PORTABILITY OF BENEFITS The following benefits are portable:

  • ELIGIBILITY and COVERAGE 3.1.0 The following ETFO represented employees are eligible to receive benefits through this Trust:

  • Same Sex Benefit Coverage An employee who co-habits with a person of the same sex, and who promotes such person as a "spouse" (partner), and who has done so for a period of not less than twelve (12) months, will be eligible to have the person covered as a spouse for purposes of Medical, Extended Health, and Dental benefits.

  • RECOGNITION AND COVERAGE 1. The Company recognizes the Union as the exclusive representative of a bargaining unit made up of production, maintenance, office, technical, clerical and railroad employees of the Company, excluding only managers, confidential employees, supervisors and guards as defined under the National Labor Relations Act. Individuals in the bargaining unit shall be known as “Employees.” Individuals who are employed by the Company and are not in the bargaining unit shall be known as “non-bargaining unit employees.” Individuals who are in the bargaining unit and those who are not in the bargaining unit shall be known collectively as “employees.”

  • Benefit Coverage The Company agrees to provide pension and welfare benefits as described in the Company Booklets, benefit plan documents or policies of insurance for the duration of the Agreement.

  • General Requirements for Insurance Coverage and Policies A. All required insurance policies shall be maintained with companies that may lawfully issue the required policy and have an A.M. Best rating of at least A- / “VII” or a Standard and Poor’s rating of at least A, unless prior written approval is obtained from the City Law Department.

  • Compensation and Employers Liability Insurance a. Statutory California Workers' Compensation coverage including broad form all-states coverage.

  • Workers’ Compensation and Employer’s Liability Coverage The insurer shall agree to waive all rights of subrogation against the City, its directors, officials, officers, employees, agents and volunteers for losses paid under the terms of the insurance policy which arise from work performed by the Consultant.

  • Child Coverage Limited to Coverage Under One Employee If both spouses work for the State or another organization participating in the State’s Group Insurance Program, either spouse, but not both, may cover the eligible dependent children or grandchildren. This restriction also applies to two divorced, legally separated, or unmarried employees who share legal responsibility for their eligible dependent children or grandchildren.

  • Worker's Compensation and Employer's Liability Insurance The Contractor shall have in effect during the entire life of this Agreement Workers' Compensation and Employer's Liability Insurance providing full statutory coverage. In signing this Agreement, the Contractor certifies, as required by Section 1861 of the California Labor Code, that it is aware of the provisions of Section 3700 of the California Labor Code which requires every employer to be insured against liability for Worker's Compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of the Code, and I will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the work of this Agreement.
