Common use of Bereavement Pay and Leave Clause in Contracts

Bereavement Pay and Leave. Bereavement leave shall consist of two (2) consecutive work days for, parents, current spouse, son, daughter, xxxx, mother- in-law, father-in- law, brothers, sisters, grandparents, grandchild or guardian. The employee is only eligible for bereavement leave if taken on scheduled working days between the date of death and the date of the funeral, inclusive.
