Bi-Weekly/Annual Hours. (a) Members working the shift schedule set out under Item (2) above will average seventy-seven (77) hours of work bi-weekly (instead of the prescribed eighty (80) hours of work bi-weekly) accruing an average of three hundred eight (308) hours each fifty-six (56) days as opposed to the prescribed three hundred twenty (320) hours which would normally accrue over a fifty-six (56) day period. (b) The deficit hours resulting from the shift schedule as identified under 4(a) above shall be redeemed by the Department in accordance with Section 4(c) below. Such shifts shall not attract any premium compensation other than shift differential as applicable. In redeeming deficit hours, the Employer shall make every reasonable effort to schedule such hours immediately prior to or immediately following a member's regularly scheduled work days.   • Base Annual Salary “Base Annual Salary” means the greater of (1) the highest annual rate of base salary in effect for the Executive during the 12 month period immediately prior to a Change in Control or, (2) the annual rate of base salary in effect at the time Notice of Termination is given (or on the date employment is terminated if no Notice of Termination is required).

  • Average Annual Compensation The Executive's "Average Annual Compensation" for purposes of this Agreement shall be deemed to mean the average level of compensation paid to the Executive by the Employers or any subsidiary thereof during the most recent five taxable years preceding the Date of Termination, including Base Salary and benefits and bonuses under any employee benefit plans of the Employers.

  • Weekly An employee whose compensation is fixed on a weekly basis shall be paid bi-weekly for work performed during the bi-weekly payroll period. There shall be no compensation for time not worked unless such time off is authorized time off with pay.

  • Payment for annual leave (a) Before going on annual leave, an employee will be paid the amount of wages they would have received for ordinary time worked had they not been on leave during that period. (b) At the election of the employee such payments may be paid in accordance with the usual pay day relevant to the period of leave being taken.

  • Loading on Annual Leave During a period of annual leave an Employee covered by this clause shall receive a loading of 22.5% calculated on the all-purpose rate of wage prescribed by Appendix A, clause 2.3 of this Agreement.

  • Month A period commencing at 10:00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, on the first Day of a calendar month and extending until 10:00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, on the first Day of the next succeeding calendar month. Monthly shall have the correlative meaning.

  • Afternoon Shift (i) Afternoon Shift is any shift where the normal ceasing time is later than 6.00 p.m. but not later than midnight. (ii) The additional loading for ordinary hours only shall be twenty-five percent (25%) of the all purpose rate applying to the Employees' classification.

  • Holiday Coinciding with a Day of Vacation Where an employee is on vacation leave and a day of paid holiday falls within that period, the paid holiday shall not count as a day of vacation.

  • Payment for Working on a Holiday (The following clause is applicable to full-time employees only)

  • Sick Leave Annual Cash Out ‌ Each January, employees are eligible to receive cash on a one (1) hour for four (4) hours basis for ninety-six (96) hours or less of their accrued sick leave, if: A. Their sick leave balance at the end of the previous calendar year exceeds four hundred and eighty (480) hours; B. The converted sick leave hours do not reduce their previous calendar year sick leave balance below four hundred and eighty (480) hours; and C. They notify their payroll office by January 31st that they would like to convert their sick leave hours earned during the previous calendar year, minus any sick leave hours used during the previous year, to cash. All converted hours will be deducted from the employee’s sick leave balance.
