Premium Compensation. Designated bilingual employees shall be paid a premium compensation in the amount of $125 per month for bilingual pay. Bilingual pay will be payable at the full monthly rate in any month a designated bilingual employee is on paid status at least half of the month. If a designated bilingual employee is on unpaid status or has been placed on paid administrative leave for more than half of the month, the bilingual pay will be reduced by half. No bilingual pay will be paid in a month if an employee is on LWOP or paid administrative leave for the entire month. Hours will be rounded to the nearest quarter hour. Employees must complete a monthly log showing the date, time, and matter for which the bilingual skill was used. Employees shall receive $10.00 (ten dollars) per hour in addition to their regular hourly rate of pay. Premium compensation shall also be included when calculating the overtime hourly rate for any overtime hours earned.

Premium Compensation. If a nurse receives authorization from his or her building principal to return to work after his or her regular work day, he or she shall be paid one and one-half (1 ½) times the hourly rate, except for those meetings stated in Section 126. Each school nurse shall be provided five (5) days during the course of the regular school year to attend workshops and/or in-service programs without loss of pay and with prior approval of the building principal and the Assistant to the Superintendent or his/her designee. The District has the authority to call a maximum of eight (8) meetings a year of registered nurses after the end of the regular work day (without additional remuneration provided).
Premium Compensation. If the working conditions required by this Article are not properly designated or met for and during any rehearsal or performance, each affected Professional Member shall be compensated at one and one-half (1.5) times the Chorister’s regular performance or rehearsal rate for the entirety of each such performance or rehearsal unless the Association, after notice of the problem, has promptly rectified it. This compensation shall be in addition to any other additional compensation owed the Chorister under other provisions of this Agreement.
