BREAKDOWN MAINTENANCE. (a) Breakdown maintenance is to be carried out in the event of breakdown of equipment which prevents the operation of the equipment. Breakdown maintenance includes faultfinding / repair / replacement of defective parts and functional checking.
(b) Down time: The maximum allowable downtime shall be two days.
(i) Intimation of breakdown of equipment: Intimation of defects in equipment will be through a Complain Register which shall be maintained by the Computer Services Department of the Corporation at its Head Office at Cuttack. The Contractor’s Service Engineer shall attend to the calls as per the Complaint Register and repair the equipments to the satisfaction of the users. After completion of the repair the details of the faults rectified and repair carried out shall be recorded in brief.
(ii) After the system is made operational it has to be accepted by the HoD, Computer Service Department or the staff authorized by him and sign in the complaint register closing the complaint.

BREAKDOWN MAINTENANCE. Initiated by technical of functional defects. Call registration of defects is handled by the RIM application manager (see IB list).

All defective parts shall be replaced or repaired by the Contractor free of cost and the defective parts are the property of the Contractor. The defective / unserviceable items shall be allowed to be taken by the Service Engineer of Contractor, only after Manager, Computer Service Department of the corporation is satisfied that it does not contain any classified / technical data, with proper gate pass duly signed by competent authorities at OSFC. The Contractor shall stock sufficient spares to carry out timely repair and maintenance to keep down time minimum as specified in Para 2 (b) (I) and (II).
BREAKDOWN MAINTENANCE. The Vendor will carry out all breakdown maintenance after receiving information (written or oral) from HPCL officials or their representatives, HPCL’s Dealer/s or their representative or from help lines of HPCL. The Vendor’s authorised service representative will carry out the required repairs of the dispensing units and inform HPCL/dealer office about the status of site. The breakdown maintenance report will be submitted and will be as per format agreed.
BREAKDOWN MAINTENANCE. 1. If any of the problems is not attended on the same day suitable System/Spare / Equipment should be replaced immediately.
2. If any of the fire extinguisher is not rectified on intimation by phone/mail, then TANTRANSCO has the right to call in a third party to get the problem attended.
3. The defects in the fire extinguisher when called upon by TANTRANSCO should be attended to, without restriction to the number of calls and area of operation.
4. The spares should be replaced in the presence of Assistant Engineer/ Maintenance/230KV KILPAUK Sub station and the defective shall be handed over to Assistant Engineer / Maintenance /230KV KILPAUK Sub station

BREAKDOWN MAINTENANCE. Any breakdown complaint should be attended immediately to avoid disturbance in institute’s activities. Spares & tools required to attend any breakdown has to be maintained. After attending to breakdowns, the unit / system shall be closely observed / monitored next day and parameters shall be checked & recorded. ‘FINE’ CLAUSE: If complaints are not attended within 4 hours the fine will be imposed at the rate of Rs.200.00 per hour.
BREAKDOWN MAINTENANCE. In case emergency reported by NPCIL through e-mail/ fax/ telephone. The Contractor shall ensure inspection of defective equipment by their authorized Service engineer within a period of 3 days from time of reporting and shall restore the machine operation through necessary repair maintenance including provision of required spares within next 10 days at no extra cost to Purchaser.
