Breaks between Rostered Shifts Sample Clauses
The 'Breaks between Rostered Shifts' clause establishes the minimum required rest period that must be provided to employees between the end of one scheduled shift and the start of the next. Typically, this clause specifies a set number of hours—such as 10 or 12—during which an employee cannot be rostered to work, ensuring adequate time for rest and recovery. By mandating these breaks, the clause helps prevent fatigue, promotes employee well-being, and ensures compliance with labor standards regarding working hours.
