Breaks Between Shifts. Employees participating in the 12-hour shift arrangements shall be allowed a break of ten (10) hours between the termination of one shift and the commencement of another shift. This break cannot be reduced.
Breaks Between Shifts a) Employees will not be required to commence working a new shift until at least ten (10) hours have elapsed since ending their previous shift. For the purpose of clarity this time period does not apply in cases of call-in.
