Common use of Briefing Pay Clause in Contracts

Briefing Pay. Thirty (30) minutes of briefing pay, at the rate of one and one-half (1 ½) times their premium rate of pay, shall be paid to any supervisor (Sergeant or Lieutenant) assigned to Patrol, Problem Solving Unit (PSU), Traffic and Marshal’s Unit who conducts pre-shift briefing and arrives thirty (30) minutes before their subordinates to prepare for briefing.
