CALCULATION OF COSTS. FEES, AND CHARGES Fees and charges for all administrative and other services and reimbursements described in Sections 4(A) through 4(E) will be invoiced by the City on an actual time and expense basis. The term “time and expense basis” shall mean the City’s actual cost for services rendered by the City staff or its contractors or consultants. Payment for the fees, charges, and costs described in Sections 4(F) and 4(G) shall be based on actual incurred costs or in such amount as is established by City ordinance for such fee, cost, or charge.
CALCULATION OF COSTS. The parties acknowledge that it is their intent to allocate the cost of the Services utilizing actual cost data. Accordingly, the parties will utilize meters to the extent available to calculate the amount of any specific Services used; in those cases where a meter is not available, such calculation will be developed on the basis of mutually acceptable proxy information.

EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS In the event that the Customer replaces or adds additional equipment or a piece of equipment fails and the repair is authorized by the Customer, the cost of the materials or repairs shall be separately invoiced to the Customer. The price of equipment, materials and consumables shall be invoiced to the Customer based upon Ford AV’s cost plus 20%. Cost includes freight and expenses to deliver the materials to the Customer. Any equipment found defective during a PM inspection and applicable to the manufacturer’s warranty shall be replaced or repaired under the manufacturer’s warranty.

Whenever in this Agreement a party is required to report its costs, or is entitled to receive or obligated to make a payment based on its costs, such costs shall be determined in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles as applied in the United States, consistent with the terms of this Agreement.
