Common use of Cancelled shift pay Clause in Contracts

Cancelled shift pay. Nurses requested to work after their scheduled shift has been canceled shall receive time and one half (1-1/2) for a minimum of two (2) hours. If a nurse is canceled and no reasonable attempt is made to notify the nurse before the start of the next shift that the nurse would have worked otherwise, the nurse shall receive four (4) hours pay in accordance with the provisions of this section.
