Seniority Reinstatement. A bargaining unit Nurse who terminates from 32 employment from Silverton Hospital and is rehired to a position covered by the Agreement 33 within twelve (12) months will (a) be returned to a wage no lower than the previously paid 34 wage and (b) will have their seniority reinstated.

Seniority Reinstatement. Employees who were members of the bargaining unit, and who left the bargaining unit, but remained continuously employed with the Sheriff's Office, upon returning to the bargaining unit, will have their seniority rights restored to the amount they had when they left the bargaining unit. For example, an employee who was in the bargaining unit for five (5) years, and who left the bargaining unit, but remained continuously employed with the Sheriff's Office for another three (3) years, and then returned to the bargaining unit, would have five (5) years of seniority rather than eight (8) years of seniority, and their seniority would begin to accrue again when they returned as a member of the bargaining unit. In addition, if the employee is returned to the bargaining unit due to failure to meet performance standards in the promoted position, the demotion will not be counted against him/her as a step in progressive discipline. In addition, a regular status employee who voluntarily resigns or retires in good standing, may, within twelve (12) months of their effective date of separation, be reinstated to a vacant position and will have their seniority rights restored to the amount they had when they left the bargaining unit.
Seniority Reinstatement. If re-employment occurs pursuant to 1 or 2 above, employees shall retain seniority earned while as a member of the Public Service Bargaining Unit, and shall be credited with seniority earned with the successful proponent, private Employer or organization for the purposes of layoff and recall and other seniority related provisions.

Seniority Reinstatement. Any non-probationary nurse who 7 terminates from employment in the Employer bargaining unit and is rehired by 8 the Employer to a position covered by this Agreement within a period of less than 9 one (1) year from the date of termination will be returned to at least the nurse’s 10 same wage as prior to termination and have his/her seniority restored. Earned 11 Leave Accrual will not be restored if the nurse had terminated Employer 12 employment.
Seniority Reinstatement. Any non-probationary, non-temporary 5 nurse who terminates from employment in the Medical Center 6 bargaining unit and is rehired by the Medical Center to a position 7 covered by this Agreement within a period of less than six (6) months 8 from the date of termination will (a) be returned at the beginning of the 9 nurse’s same wage step as prior to termination, (if the nurse returns to 10 the same position and status) (b) not be required to complete a new 11 probationary period, and (c) have his/her seniority, exclusively for 12 purposes of this Article, shall be credited previous seniority, but shall 13 have a corrected seniority date adjusting for time separated.

Seniority Reinstatement. The Company will reinstate the seniority of an employee whose denied security clearance is reinstated by the federal government. A non-probationary employee who loses his security clearance or site access for any reason will not lose his seniority until final adjudication of his appeal. Any employee whose seniority is reinstated under this provision will be reinstated in his previously held occupational title.
