Common use of Cessation of Vacation Accrual Clause in Contracts

Cessation of Vacation Accrual. There shall be no accrual of vacation entitlements during: (a) layoff; or (b) a leave of absence without pay which is in excess of thirty (30) calendar days; or (c) an absence while in receipt of disability insurance or Workers' Compensation benefits which is in excess of thirty (30) calendar days.
