Change of Salary and Lane. Change of salary and lane will become effective on August 31st and/or January 31st provided said teacher has provided substantiated documentation and proof of satisfactory completion. If a delay occurs, beyond the control of the teacher, final change of salary and lane may be delayed accordingly. For a lane change to become effective on August 31st, proof of satisfactory completion must be received in the district office by August 31st. For an effective date of January 31st, proof must be received by January 31st. Each lane change will result in a two percent (2%) increase to the teacher’s base salary.

Change of Salary and Lane. Change of salary and xxxx will become effective immediately, provided said teacher has provided substantiated documentation and proof of satisfactory completion. If a delay occurs, beyond the control of the teacher, final change of salary and lane may be delayed accordingly. Each lane change will result in a two percent (2%) increase to the teacherʼs base salary. A lane change from BA+27 to MA will result in a three percent (3%) increase to the teacherʼs base salary. Terminal Degree; EdD/PhD, will result in a three percent (3%) increase to the teacherʼs base salary. The salary adjustment will be applied to the teacherʼs base salary for the remaining contract year.

  • Status of Salary Schedule The salary schedules are not to be construed as part of a teacher’s continuing contract. In the event a successor Agreement is not entered into prior to the expiration date of this Agreement, a teacher shall be compensated according to the previous year’s compensation until such time that a successor Agreement is executed.

  • Salary on Demotion Whenever an employee demotes to a job classification in a lower range that has a salary rate the same as the previous salary step, the employee’s salary shall be maintained at that step in the lower range. Whenever an employee demotes to a job classification in a salary range which does not have corresponding salary steps with the employee’s previous salary but is within the new salary range, the employee’s salary shall be maintained at the current rate until the next eligibility date. At the employee’s next eligibility date, if qualified, the employee shall be granted a salary rate increase of one (1) full step within the new salary range plus that amount that their current salary rate is below the next higher rate in the salary range. This increase shall not exceed the highest rate in the new salary range. Whenever employees demote to a job classification in a lower range, but their previous salary is above the highest step for that range, the employee shall be paid at the highest step in the new salary range. This Section shall not apply to demotions resulting from official disciplinary actions.
