Change Requested. Cardno is submitting this supplemental as a result of changes that have occurred within the project area as well as to INDOT-Environmental Policy over the course of the project. Due to the recent construction visible on September 2020 imagery in the northern half of the project, the hydrology may have changed enough to significantly reduce the size of the wetlands in the project area. Cardno recommends that the City revise the delineation to reflect current conditions, which may provide significant cost and time savings during permitting. Based on the original delineation, current impacts to wetlands are 0.98 acre. As the IDEM regulations stand now, we would assume mitigation would be required at a 1:1 ratio at about $85,000/acre ($83,300). As of April 1, 2021, INDOT has updated their Categorical Exclusion Manual, including a new form for submittal. This change of scope includes updating the completed environmental documentation to meet the current INDOT guidelines. This change of scope includes the following: • Regulated waters delineation and reporting - $2,561.00 • Update NEPA documentation - $1,294.00 Signature Printed Name/Title RQAW Consulting Engineers & Architects Company Cardno, Inc. ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, Operations Manager Authorization Date Project Name: 151st and Towne Road Intersection Improvement Project Date: 7/12/2021 Change Order Number: 03 Prepared By: ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Project Manager: ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Cardno will prepare an Approved Jurisdictional Determination (AJD) package to accompany the Regulated Waters Delineation Report.
