City Attorney adjustments. The City Attorney reserves the right to increase salaries during the mid-term of the Agreement for internal promotion, equity treatment, assumption of increased responsibility or authority, employee retention or other business- related reasons. The decision of the City Attorney, both as to the amount of such merit raise and as to the method by which it shall be given, shall be at the sole discretion of the City Attorney and shall not be subject to the grievance procedure of this agreement, nor shall it be subject to arbitration.
