Common use of Civic Duty Clause in Contracts

Civic Duty. Employees required to appear before a court on any matter not related to their work or in which they are not personally involved as a plaintiff or defendant may be granted a leave of absence with pay, and the employee shall reimburse the Employer up to their regular rate of pay the amount of the compensation received from the County or person or party requiring their appearance exclusive of mileage reimbursement.

Civic Duty. Employees required to appear before a court or other public body on any matter not related to their work or and in which they are not personally involved (as a plaintiff or defendant may defendant) and employees elected or appointed to any political or legislative position who request a leave of absence to perform their civic duty shall be granted a leave of absence with pay, and without pay for the employee shall reimburse the Employer up period necessary to fulfill their regular rate of pay the amount of the compensation received from the County or person or party requiring their appearance exclusive of mileage reimbursementcivic responsibilities.

Civic Duty. Employees required to appear before a court or other public body on any matter not related to their work or in which they are not personally involved (as a plaintiff or defendant may defendant), shall be granted a leave of absence with paypay (as set forth in the following paragraph), and for the employee period necessary to fulfill their civic responsibilities. Employees shall reimburse be paid the Employer up to their regular rate of pay the amount of difference, if any, between the compensation received they receive from the County court or person or party requiring other public body and their appearance exclusive wages for each day of mileage reimbursementservice.

Employees required to appear before a court or other public body by subpoena or other process on any matter not related to their work or and in which they are not personally involved (as a plaintiff or defendant defendant) may request a leave of absence to perform their civic duty and shall be granted a leave of absence with pay, and pay for the employee shall reimburse the Employer up period necessary to fulfill their regular rate of pay the amount of the compensation received from the County or person or party requiring their appearance exclusive of mileage reimbursementcivic responsibilities.
