Civil Rights Laws. (1) During the performance of this Contract the parties shall comply with all federal and state nondiscrimination laws including, but not limited to chapter 49.60 RCW, Washington’s Law Against Discrimination, and 42 U.S.C. § 12101 et seq., the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
(2) In the event of the Contractor’s or its Subcontractors’ noncompliance or refusal to comply with any nondiscrimination law, regulation or policy, this Contract may be rescinded, canceled or terminated in whole or in part, and the Contractor may be declared ineligible for further contracts with DCYF. The Contractor shall, however, be given a reasonable time in which to remedy this noncompliance. Any dispute may be resolved in accordance with the "Disputes" procedure set forth herein.

Part 22, which prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin under programs or activities receiving federal financial assistance.
Civil Rights Laws. 4.3.1. During the performance of this Contract the parties shall comply with all federal and state nondiscrimination laws including, but not limited to chapter 49.60 RCW, Washington’s Law Against Discrimination, and 42 U.S.C. § 12101 et seq., the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
4.3.2. In the event of the Center’s noncompliance or refusal to comply with any nondiscrimination law, regulation or policy, this Contract may be rescinded, canceled, or terminated in whole or in part, and the Center may be declared ineligible for further contracts with PSESD. The Center shall, however, be given a reasonable time in which to remedy this noncompliance. Any dispute may be resolved in accordance with the "Disputes" procedure set forth herein.
Civil Rights Laws a. SUBGRANTEE, its officers, employees, members, and subcontractors hereby affirm current and ongoing compliance with all federal civil rights laws including:
(1) Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Pub. L. 88-352);
(2) Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 USC 2000d, et seq.);
(3) The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 USC 12101, et seq.) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; and
(4) The Age Discrimination Act of 1975 (42 USC 6101, et seq.).
b. In carrying out this Agreement, SUBGRANTEE will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, military status, disability, age, genetic information, or sexual orientation, in making any of the following employment decisions: hiring, layoff, termination, transfer, promotion, demotion, rate of compensation, and eligibility for in-service training programs.
c. SUBGRANTEE agrees that it will not participate in, condone or tolerate any form of sexual harassment against any employee, subcontractor, or other person or entity with which it is associated in performance of this Agreement, which is considered a form of sex discrimination prohibited by Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Ohio Revised Code 4112.02, Ohio Administrative Code 123:1-49, the Anti-Discrimination Policy in State Government Executive Order 2019-05D, or state agency policy.
d. SUBGRANTEE agrees to post notices affirming compliance with all applicable federal and state non-discrimination laws in conspicuous places accessible to all employees and applicants for employment.
e. SUBGRANTEE will incorporate the foregoing requirements of this Paragraph in all of its subgrants or subcontracts for any of the work prescribed herein.

(3) Tribal Sovereign Nations may give Preference in its hiring and employment practices to the members of the Tribal Nation, or other Tribal Nations, who have met all requirements for that position, including state requirements, as may be provided by tribal laws and policies.

The Licensee assures and certifies that it shall comply with all applicable federal and State statutes to the end that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, sex, age, disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, familial status, political affiliation, or sexual orientation, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under this Agreement or under any project, program or activity supported by this Agreement.
