Class 1 - Monitor and Security Education Assistants. Class 1 Education Assistants shall include monitor and security Education Assistants whose primary responsibilities include: Monitor - Supervision of students on the playground or in other areas in the school building during normal school hours. Security - Performing duties that would build positive relationships with students. The duties include: monitoring the school hallways, cafeteria, bus areas; support in maintaining order and utilizing positive discipline approaches, and supporting the safety of the school building.

  • EDUCATION ASSISTANTS 1. All Education Assistants employed by the Board to assist teachers in carrying out their responsibilities and duties under the School Act and Regulations shall be assigned to classes and/or students by the Principal and shall be assigned specific duties by the teacher during the designated periods of time.

  • School Nurses The salary of a nurse with a graduate nursing degree will be 90% of the XX Xxxx of Schedule A. The salary of a nurse with a BS Nursing Degree will be the same as the XX Xxxx of Schedule A.

  • Education - Asthma This plan covers asthma education services when the services are prescribed by a physician and performed by a certified asthma educator.

  • Special Education Services 1. The parties agree to uphold the tenets contained within the "Special Education Services: A Manual of Policies, Procedures and Guidelines” document (February 2011) published by the BC Ministry of Education.
