Closed Practices. Coaches may choose to implement “Closed Practices” at their own discretion. Closed practices without parents or other spectators in attendance helps to eliminate distractions and training disruption. Closed Practices. All practices are closed, unless designated as open practices. During open practices we expect parents/guests to remain quiet and reserve questions/comments for the coaches after practice. Being a cheerleader is demanding, as is any other sport, and can be quite dangerous. During practice, the students must remain focused since distractions may result in injuries to themselves or their teammates.
Closed Practices. All practices will be open to players, team managers, LP basketball coaches, and administration only.
Closed Practices. Practices for all levels are closed to the public for anyone who is not on the coaching staff and/or team. This means parents/guardians are to not enter the gym during practice hours unless an emergency is underway. If questions or concerns would like to be expressed after practice to a coach, parents/guardians must wait in the lobby until practice has ended. It is recommended that any meetings parents/guardians would like to have with coaches before or after practice be coordinated ahead of time between the parent/guardian and coach. Please refrain from coming inside the gym during practice times, unless you are scheduled to speak with a coach.

All athletes are required to make all National events (Qualifiers, USAV, ASICS or AAU National Championships), if applicable to your program as noted in your tournament schedule. We ask that you do not take family vacations during times which will cause your athlete to miss practices or competition in preparation of these important events. Teams will recognize breaks away from competition dates that will be posted on the website under practice schedules. If you receive an automatic birth to the AAU National Championships or qualify for the USAV National Championships at any qualifier you are required to attend. Please be aware that if your team qualifies for a National Event, all members of the team are expected to attend and additional fees will be incurred. The end of your season may be extended as a result as well.
