Closure of Shift. The County will check the availability of all on-call employees and 18 regular employees before covering all or part of the shift with non-bargaining unit employees.

Closure of Shift. The County will check the availability of all on-call employees 23 before covering all or part of the shift with non-bargaining unit employees. Provided, however, the 24 County can use non-bargaining unit employees if there is an immediate need to cover the shift while 25 it is checking for the availability of on-call employees and, if available, the employee’s arrival to the 26 job.
