CMOS membership. Members of RMetS who reside outside Canada may join CMOS in the category of Associate Member. Associate Members will enjoy the same benefits as CMOS members, including member registration for all CMOS events. RMetS members will apply for Associate Member status directly with CMOS, and CMOS will handle all aspects of the application and annual renewal process. The dues rate for Members will be set at 25% of the normal CMOS membership rate. Members of RMetS will be asked to provide their RMetS membership number (or other appropriate identification) that can be confirmed with RMetS at the discretion of CMOS.

CMOS membership. Members of IMS may join CMOS as “Affiliate Members” and with benefits provided to Affiliate Members as outlined on the CMOS website, including, but not limited to a subscription to the digital version of the Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society Bulletin, member rates on all journals, books, and other products of the CMOS, and member registration rate for all CMOS meetings. The dues rate for Affiliate Members will be set at the time of this MOU as $25 (US), but is subject to inflationary increases over time at the discretion of the CMOS. IMS members will apply for Affiliate Members status directly with CMOS, and CMOS will handle all aspects of the application and annual renewal process. Members of IMS will be asked to provide their IMS membership number (or other appropriate identification) that can be confirmed with IMS at the discretion of CMOS.
CMOS membership. Members of AMS may join CMOS as “Associate Members” with benefits provided to Associate Members as outlined on the CMOS website, including but not limited to: a subscription to the digital version of the CMOS Bulletin and Atmosphere-Ocean Journal, and member registration rate for all CMOS meetings. The annual dues rate for Associate Members will be set at the time of this MOU as $53 (Cdn), which is approximately 66% of the normal CMOS member rate. It is subject to inflationary increases over time at the discretion of the CMOS. AMS members will apply for Associate Member status directly with CMOS, and CMOS will handle all aspects of the application and annual renewal process. Members of AMS will be asked to provide their AMS membership number that can be confirmed with AMS at the discretion of CMOS.

  • Membership The Committee shall include nine (9) members - five (5) representatives from CUPE/SCFP and four (4) representatives from the CTA. Up to two (2) advisors from the Ministry of Education shall act in a resource capacity to the committee. Other persons may attend meetings in order to provide support and resources as mutually agreed. Up to one (1) representative from each of the four (4) employee bargaining agencies at the other education workers tables will be invited to participate on the Committee.

Benefits are term year specific so they can only be used during the current active plan agreement period.   • Career Development The City and the Union agree that employee career growth can be beneficial to both the City and the affected employee. As such, consistent with training needs identified by the City and the financial resources appropriated therefore by the City, the City shall provide educational and training opportunities for employee career growth. Each employee shall be responsible for utilizing those training and educational opportunities made available by the City or other institutions for the self- development effort needed to achieve personal career goals.

  • Application for Membership No employee shall be subject to any penalties against his application for membership or reinstatement, except as may be provided for in the Constitution and By-Laws of the National Union and the Union. A copy of such Constitution and By-Laws, and any changes thereto, shall be transmitted to the Company.
