Common use of Cold work Clause in Contracts

Cold work. a) An employee who works in a place where the temperature is lowered by artificial means to less than 0 degrees Celsius will be paid an additional $0.54 per hour. b) Where such work continues for more than two hours, the employee will be entitled to 20 minutes’ rest after every two hours work without loss of pay, not including the special rate provided for in clause 41(a). 42.
