Common use of Cold work Clause in Contracts

Cold work. An employee who works in a place where the temperature is lowered by artificial means to less than 0o Celsius shall be paid as per rate in A1. Where such work continues for more than 2 hours, the employee shall be entitled to 20 minutes rest after every 2 hours work without loss of pay, not including the special rate provided by this sub-clause.
