Collaboration between Implementing Entity and Park District. The Parties agree that effective collaboration between the Implementing Entity and the Park District will likely make it possible to create and manage the Preserve System in a more cost-efficient manner, allow for better integration of the Preserve System with existing Park District lands in the Plan Area, and help to coordinate implementation of the HCP/NCCP with the Park District’s current and future activities. For these purposes, the Implementing Entity and Park District shall develop a mutually agreeable programmatic strategy to collaborate on land acquisition and management in the Plan Area. The programmatic strategy may include, without limitation, standard terms and conditions for real property transactions and management plans, a joint acquisition planning process, a process for developing joint grant applications, and a strategy for coordinating the long-term management of the Preserve System with the long-term management of other Park District lands. As part of the programmatic strategy, the Permittees expect to enter into an agreement establishing the terms under which one or more Preserve Management Plans will be prepared for lands acquired by the Park District within the Plan Area since November 19, 2003 (the effective date of the Planning Agreement) and to take other steps as necessary to credit those lands toward the obligations set forth in Conservation Measure 1.1, in accordance with Section 9.4 of this Agreement. To facilitate this collaboration, the Implementing Entity and Park District shall create a liaison committee under mutually agreeable terms that will make recommendations to the Implementing Entity and the Park District regarding potential joint land acquisitions, land management and monitoring, grant applications and other actions to create or manage the Preserve System. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in this Agreement is intended to prohibit or prevent the Implementing Entity or the Park District from collaborating with other public agencies or private entities to help to create and manage the Preserve System or for any other purpose. The Parties do not expect the programmatic land acquisition and management strategy to implement all of the HCP/NCCP and anticipate that other independent or collaborative actions by the Implementing Entity will be necessary to implement the HCP/NCCP in its entirety.   • Traditional Medicine Cooperation 1. The aims of Traditional Medicine cooperation will be: (a) to build on existing agreements or arrangements already in place for Traditional Medicine cooperation; and (b) to promote information exchanges on Traditional Medicine between the Parties. 2. In pursuit of the objectives in Article 149 (Objectives), the Parties will encourage and facilitate, as appropriate, the following activities, including, but not limited to: (a) encouraging dialogue on Traditional Medicine policies and promotion of respective Traditional Medicine; (b) raising awareness of active effects of Traditional Medicine; (c) encouraging exchange of experience in conservation and restoration of Traditional Medicine; (d) encouraging exchange of experience on management, research and development for Traditional Medicine; (e) encouraging cooperation in the Traditional Medicine education field, mainly through training programs and means of communication; (f) having a consultation mechanism between the Parties' Traditional Medicine authorities; (g) encouraging cooperation in Traditional Medicine therapeutic services and products manufacturing; and (h) encouraging cooperation in research in the fields of Traditional Medicine in order to contribute in efficacy and safety assessments of natural resources and products used in health care.

  • Development cooperation 1. The Parties recognise that development cooperation is a crucial element of their Partnership and an essential factor in the realisation of the objectives of this Agreement as laid down in Article 1. This cooperation can take financial and non-financial forms.

  • Erosion and Sediment Control The Contractor shall install and maintain erosion and sediment control devices to prevent adjacent streets, storm drains and property from accumulations of soil, sediment, or dust which result from his work. Devices installed to control sediment and prevent erosion shall comply with the requirements of the Georgia Tech Project Superintendent. The Contractor is responsible for monitoring downstream conditions throughout the construction period and clearing any debris, sediment, and dust caused by the progress of the Work. The Contractor shall inspect, maintain, and clear erosion and sediment control devices at least weekly unless otherwise directed by the Georgia Institute of Technology Construction Manager. At the conclusion of the Work, the Contractor shall remove all installed devices and restoring the site to the satisfaction of the Georgia Tech Construction Manager.

  • COOPERATION IN IMPLEMENTATION On demand of the other Spouse and without undue delay or expense, each Spouse shall execute, acknowledge, or deliver any instrument, furnish any information, or perform any other acts reasonably necessary to carry out the provisions of this Agreement. If a Spouse fails to execute any document as required by this provision, the court may appoint the court clerk or his or her authorized designee to execute the document on that Xxxxxx’s behalf.

  • PURPOSE AND IMPLEMENTATION This Umbrella Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement" or "Umbrella Agreement") shall be for the purpose of collaborative research, development, and testing opportunities on various topics of mutual interest to enable advanced understanding of aeronautics, science, and space systems research and development and to provide workforce development in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) while furthering NASA’s research and development goals. The Parties shall execute one (1) Annex Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Annex") concurrently with this Umbrella Agreement. The Parties may execute subsequent Annexes under this Umbrella Agreement consistent with the purpose and terms of this Umbrella Agreement. This Umbrella Agreement shall govern all Annexes executed hereunder; no Annex shall amend this Umbrella Agreement. Each Annex will detail the specific purpose of the proposed activity, responsibilities, schedule and milestones, and any personnel, property, or facilities to be utilized under the task. This Umbrella Agreement takes precedence over any Annexes. In the event of a conflict between the Umbrella Agreement and any Annex concerning the meaning of its provisions, and the rights, obligations and remedies of the Parties, the Umbrella Agreement is controlling.

  • Faculty Development Faculty who develop and/or teach Distance Education courses shall be provided with reasonable technical support and opportunities for Faculty development, consistent with the needs of the Faculty and availability of Board resources and services for that purpose. In the event that a Faculty member develops and/or teaches a Distance Education course for the first time, the Faculty member shall receive reasonable and appropriate professional development and technical support assistance, consistent with the needs of the Faculty and availability of Board resources and services for that purpose. In instances of succeeding assignments to teach Distance Education courses, the Faculty member is expected to demonstrate a level of technical competence sufficient to teach the course. Ongoing technical support assistance may be available to Faculty who teach succeeding offerings of the same course.

  • COOPERATION BETWEEN THE PARTIES The College and UFE shall supply each other with requested information reasonably needed to facilitate the processing of the grievance. Meetings to discuss any grievance shall be scheduled at mutually convenient times.

  • Proposing Integration Activities in the Planning Submission No integration activity described in section 6.3 may be proposed in a CAPS unless the LHIN has consented, in writing, to its inclusion pursuant to the process set out in section 6.3(b).
