Commissioning Allowance Sample Clauses
A Commissioning Allowance clause defines a specific budget or sum allocated for the commissioning activities required to ensure that building systems and equipment function as intended. This allowance typically covers costs such as testing, adjusting, and verifying the performance of HVAC, electrical, and other critical systems, and may be used to pay third-party commissioning agents or cover additional labor and materials. By establishing a clear financial provision for these activities, the clause helps ensure that commissioning is properly funded and completed, reducing the risk of system failures or disputes over responsibility.
