Compassionate/Bereavement Leave. Full Time Employees and Part Time Employees shall have an entitlement to paid Compassionate Leave and Casual Employees shall have an entitlement to unpaid Compassionate Leave, as follows:- Employees shall be entitled to two (2) days compassionate leave per occasion when a member of the Employees’ immediate family or household member contracts or develops a personal injury or illness that poses a serious threat to life or an immediate family member or household member dies. The two (2) days may be taken in a single unbroken period of two (2) days or two separate periods of one (1) day as agreed by the Employer and the Employee.
