Compilations. In the event of the Distribution of a compilation of Software and/or Modifications with other separate and independent works, which are not by their nature extensions of the Software and/or the Modifications, and which are not combined with it such as to form a larger program, in or on a volume of a storage or distribution medium, Distribution of the compilation does not cause this License to apply to the other parts of the compilation.

Compilations. Compilation programme(s) may be edited together from programmes in the same series. Each compilation programme payment will be based on the aggregate fee of the contributor for one programme in the series.
Compilations. For purposes of this Section, Deliverables and Work Products that contain Contractor Technology will be deemed to be compilations as defined in 17 U.S.C. § 101 and will be owned by the Department as provided in 17 U.S.C. § 103(b), and the underlying pre-existing materials and Contractor Technology included in the Deliverables and Work Product will remain owned by Contractor and its suppliers.
Compilations. An ITV Company wishing to use extracts in a compilation programme i.e. a programme substantially made up of extracts celebrating the work of an Artist or Musician or an established group of Artists or Musicians or a known production series shall make the following payments to each Musician:
Compilations. If the work is a compilation, the Faculty member shall retain all ownership interests in his/her contribution, but by allowing that work to become part of the compilation thereby grants non-exclusive, royalty-free license to the University for use of his/her contribution. While the University shall own the rights to the compilation, it shall own no rights in the underlying work beyond said license. Notwithstanding the royalty-free license, the University will share the net income from the compilation with the Faculty member as described in section C.3.E.

Compilations. 6.1 In consideration of the Limited Use Compilation Programme Fee payable to each Musician, Producer shall be entitled to incorporate compilations into a Compilation Programme and to use, exploit or licence others to use the Work(s) for non-theatrical use worldwide and one of the mediums and territories set out in clause 4.2 and Further Rights in accordance with clause 4.3. 6.2 In consideration of the Combined Use Compilation Programme Fee payable to each Musician, Producer shall be entitled to incorporate compilations into a Compilation Programme and shall acquire all the rights and consents to use and exploit or to licence others to use the compilations in the Work(s) in all media and any mode of exploitation throughout the world in perpetuity excluding release as commercial audio recordings.

Compilations. For any compilation product (audio or audiovisual) embodying any materials other than (A) archival performance and (B) the performances described in Paragraph C.(2)(a) and (b) below, a payment equal to the following: $127.32, subject to the provisions of SECTION ONE, Article TWENTY-THIRD. No Cross-Collateralization Among New Productions: The Met will not cross-collateralize among new productions. Thus, net revenues from one production would not be applied to recoup a production deficit on another production, although costs within a production would all be crossed (so income from DVD exploitation would be applied against unrecouped theatrical expenses, and so on).
Compilations. If a composition from the Master Recording is used on a compilation or recording in which other artists are included, the Artist' royalty shall be pro rated. For example, if a composition from the Master Recording is included on a compilation containing nine selections from other artists, Artist shall be entitled to one-tenth (1/10th) of the royalty rate. Flat Fee. Company shall pay Artist _____% of the net receipts paid to Company under any flat fee license of the Master Recordings or any portion of the Master Recordings. Promotional Recordings and Cutouts. No royalties will be due on Records furnished on a promotional basis. Nor shall any royalty be due for Records sold by Company as cutouts or for scrap or otherwise upon deletion from Company's catalogue.
