Common use of Completion of Apprenticeship Clause in Contracts

Completion of Apprenticeship. Following the satisfactory completion of the seven hundred thirty-two (732) working days, except as provided in Rule 15, an apprentice shall establish a seniority date as a journeyman Electrician at the location where employed. The journeyman seniority date shall be the date the Apprentice established an Electrician Apprentice seniority date. Under the application of Rule 7, an Apprentice permanently transferred to another location will not acquire a seniority date at the new location prior to the date the transfer is effective unless the transfer is pursuant to a transaction covered by an Implementing Agreement.
