Common use of Completion of Apprenticeship Clause in Contracts

Completion of Apprenticeship. Following satisfactory completion of seven hundred thirty-two (732) working days, except as provided in Section 14, an apprentice will establish a retroactive seniority date as a journeyman Electrician at the location employed. In no event will this result in establishment of a seniority date for the apprentice prior to the date commencing the apprenticeship program with the Company.

Under the application of Rule 7, an Apprentice permanently transferred to another location will this result in establishment of not acquire a seniority date for at the apprentice new location prior to the date commencing the apprenticeship program with transfer is effective unless the Companytransfer is pursuant to a transaction covered by an Implementing Agreement.
