Computational results. Using our discrete event simulation model described above, we will first evaluate the existing system and subsequently test the alternative appointment systems and evaluate their performance (paragraph 3.1). Based on the results, we will select the appointment system that best suits the needs of the dermatology outpatient clinic (paragraph 3.2). Then, we will conduct a sensitivity analysis on various important parameters to see how robust the proposed system is (paragraph 3.3).
Computational results. ‌ The aim of the experiments shown in this section is to analyze a multi-objective optimization for the provisioning 7The tasks or jobs in CloudSim simulator are called Cloudlets. of resources in clouds that considers the Pareto trade-off between cost and makespan by applying different service types for different SLAs. The experiments were carried out in the CloudSim Simulator 3.0.3 3 version,8 with the aid of a computer with an AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T Proces- sor, 16 GB of RAM memory, 1.5 TB of disc storage and the Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS operational system with a kernel version 3.13.0. As previously mentioned, we used the SLA generator from [9]. Table 4 presents the SLAs applied to the validation with the QoS target, one SLA for each service type. TABLE 4. SLAs generated. XXXX-XX and MPGA were executed 30 times for each SLA, which means that the same experiment was replicated for both algorithms. Table 5 shows the parameter settings for each algorithm. These values were empirically defined, based on previous settings reported in the literature ( [9], [31]). Computational results. = = = = To simulate the process of quenching of the high-temperature fcc phase we first kept the system at the temperature T 1200 K, which is, for our values of parameters, above both the temperature of thermodynamic fcc/bcc equilibrium T0 1060 K and the Xxxxx temperature for bcc Fe TC 1045 K. The former value is a bit lower than the experimentally measured temperature for equilibrium T0 1184 K. The statement of grant income and expenditure is prepared by the Grantee to correspond with the expenditure reported to the department by the Grantee for the same period, in the process of claiming grant payments. The independent audit report must be prepared by a person who is an approved auditor. An approved auditor is a person who is: registered as a company auditor under the Corporations Xxx 0000 or an appropriately qualified member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, or of CPA Australia or the Institute of Public Accountants; and not a principal, member, shareholder, officer, agent, subcontractor or employee of the Grantee or of a related body corporate or a Connected Entity. The procedures selected depend on the auditor’s judgement, including the assessment of the risks of material misstatement of the financial statement, whether due to fraud or error. In making those risk assessments, the auditor considers internal control relevant to the Grantee’s preparation and fair presentation of the financial statement, and to the Grantee’s compliance with the grant agreement, in order to design audit procedures that are appropriate in the circumstances, but not for the purpose of expressing an opinion on the effectiveness of the Grantee’s internal control. An audit also includes evaluating the appropriateness of accounting policies used by management, as well as evaluating the overall presentation of the financial statement.

  • Evaluation Results A. Evaluation results shall be used:

  • Computation of Overtime In computing overtime a period of thirty (30) minutes or less shall be counted as one-half (½) hour and a period of more than thirty (30) minutes but less than sixty (60) minutes shall be counted as one (1) hour.

  • Expected Results VA’s agreement with DoD to provide educational assistance is a statutory requirement of Chapter 1606, Title 10, U.S.C., Chapter 1607, Title 10, U.S.C., Chapter 30, Title 38, U.S.C. and Chapter 33, Title 38, U.S.C (Post-9/11 GI Xxxx). These laws require VA to make payments to eligible veterans, service members, guard, reservist, and family members under the transfer of entitlement provisions. The responsibility of determining basic eligibility for Chapter 1606 is placed on the DoD. The responsibility of determining basic eligibility for Chapter 30 and Chapter 33 is placed on VA, while the responsibility of providing initial eligibility data for Chapter 30 and Chapter 33 is placed on DoD. Thus, the two agencies must exchange data to ensure that VA makes payments only to those who are eligible for a program. Without an exchange of enrollment and eligibility data, VA would not be able to establish or verify applicant and recipient eligibility for the programs. Subject to the due process requirements, set forth in Article VII.B.1., 38 U.S.C. §3684A, VA may suspend, terminate, or make a final denial of any financial assistance on the basis of data produced by a computer matching program with DoD. To minimize administrative costs of implementation of the law and to maximize the service to the veteran or service member, a system of data exchanges and subsequent computer matching programs was developed. The purposes of the computer matching programs are to minimize the costs of administering the Xxxxxxxxxx GI Xxxx — Active Duty, the Xxxxxxxxxx GI Xxxx — Selected Reserve, Reserve Educational Assistance Program, and the Post-9/11 GI Xxxx program; facilitate accurate payment to eligible veterans or service members training under the Chapter of the Xxxxxxxxxx GI Xxxx — Active Duty, the Xxxxxxxxxx GI Xxxx — Selected Reserve, Reserve Educational Assistance Program, and the Post-9/11 GI Xxxx program; and to avoid payment to those who lose eligibility. The current automated systems, both at VA and DoD, have been developed over the last twenty-two years. The systems were specifically designed to utilize computer matching in transferring enrollment and eligibility data to facilitate accurate payments and avoid incorrect payments. The source agency, DMDC, stores eligibility data on its computer based system of record. The cost of providing this data to VA electronically are minimal when compared to the cost DMDC would incur if the data were forwarded to VA in a hard-copy manner. By comparing records electronically, VA avoids the personnel costs of inputting data manually as well as the storage costs of the DMDC documents. This results in a VA estimated annual savings of $26,724,091 to VA in mailing and data entry costs. DoD reported an estimated annual savings of $12,350,000. A cost-benefit analysis is at Attachment 1. In the 32 years since the inception of the Chapter 30 program, the cost savings of using computer matching to administer the benefit payments for these educational assistance programs have remained significant. The implementation of Chapter 33 has impacted the Chapter 30 program over the past 8 years (fiscal year 2010 through fiscal year 2017). Statistics show a decrease of 23 percent in the number of persons who ultimately use Chapter 30 from fiscal year 2015 to 2016. The number of persons who use Chapter 33 has consistently been above 700,000 in the past four years. VA foresees continued cost savings due to the number of persons eligible for the education programs.‌

  • Time Computation Saturday, Sunday and holidays recognized by this Agreement shall not be counted under the time procedures established in this Agreement.

  • Audit Results If an audit by a Party determines that an overpayment or an underpayment has occurred, a notice of such overpayment or underpayment shall be given to the other Party together with those records from the audit which support such determination.
