Concealed Works and Intermediate Acceptance. 17.1 In respect of any part of the Project that satisfies the concealment conditions or is subject to the intermediate acceptance inspection as agreed in the Special Provisions, the Contractor shall conduct self-inspection and notify the Engineer for acceptance inspection in a Written Form 48 Hours prior to the concealment or intermediate acceptance inspection. The notice shall include the contents of the concealment and intermediate acceptance inspection, the time and place of the acceptance inspection. The Contractor shall prepare an acceptance inspection record, and if the part past the acceptance inspection, the Contractor may continue the concealment and construction after the Engineer signs on the acceptance inspection record. If the part failed the acceptance inspection, the Contractor shall make revisions within the time frame given by the Engineer and proceed with a new acceptance inspection procedure.

Concealed Works and Intermediate Acceptance. The concealed works and intermediate acceptance shall be handled as per the agreement of the Parties under the Special Terms and Conditions of the Contract. If the incompliance of project quality with the standards is caused for the reason of the Contractor, the Employer has the right to request the Contractor to take remedial measures at any time until the project quality complies with the quality standards specified in the Contract. The Contractor shall be liable to the increased costs and (or) the delay of Construction Duration. The parts that cannot be remedied shall be handled as per Refusal of Acceptance for All or Part of the Project. Quality Test for Project with Dispute Any dispute between the Contracting Parties on the project quality shall be subject to verification by the engineering quality testing institution agreed by the Parties through negotiation. The costs and losses arising therefrom shall be borne by the Responsible Party. Where the Parties cannot determine a testing institution through negotiation, the Contractor or the Subcontractor can authorize the Employer to directly entrust a competent testing institution to conduction testing and the Contractor or the Subcontractor shall not propose any objection. If the Contracting Parties are responsible for these costs and losses, each party shall bear such costs and losses to the extent of its own responsibilities.

They should inform engineer to inspect in written 48hours before concealed or intermediate acceptance. The concealment, the contents, place and time of intermediate acceptance should be informed. Contractor prepares the record of inspection. When it is qualified and signed by engineer, the concealment and continuing operation should be carried out by contractor. If not qualified, it should be inspected again when contractor have amend it within appointed time according to mission time given by engineer.

  • Product Acceptance (a) The Products delivered by Flextronics will be inspected and tested as required by Customer within **** of receipt at the “ship to” location on the applicable purchase order. If Products do not comply with the express limited warranty set forth in Section 6.2 below, Customer has the right to reject such Products during said period. Products not rejected during said period will be deemed accepted.
