The 'Concrete Pours' clause defines the requirements and procedures for pouring concrete on a construction project. Concrete Pours. Concrete Pours will be commenced to take account of finishing times within the ordinary hours of work in Clause 34 of this Agreement.

When the Laborer placing such concrete works greater than four (4) hours, but less than six (6) hour, he/she shall be paid a minimum of six (6) hours; where the Laborer works into the sixth (6th) hour of his regular shift, he/she shall be paid a minimum of eight (8) hours, weather permitting. 2. Where concrete is poured on a job on Saturday, Sunday or Holiday and the Laborer placing such concrete works greater than four (4) hours, but less than six (6) hours; he/she shall be paid a minimum of six (6) hours; where the Laborer works into the sixth (6th) hour of his regular shift, he/she shall be paid a minimum of eight (8) hours, weather permitting. 3. The Employer agrees to furnish to the Vibrator Operator on concrete pours, protective gloves.
Concrete Pours. The Parties agree that it gives rise to a reasonable concern on the part of an employee undertaking the work of an imminent risk to their health or safety to commence concrete pours greater than 150m³ that are delayed after 11.00am. In the interest of safety the Company will not commence concrete pours over 150m³ that are delayed after 11.00am.
Concrete Pours. (a) In circumstances where it is predicted that the temperature will be 35°C, concrete pours shall not be scheduled, and Employees shall not be required to start a concrete pour. However, after prior consultation and agreement between the Company and the Union, agreed concrete pours may commence no later than 7.00am. (b) Upcoming concrete pours shall be an agenda item for the site WHS Committee, so they can view the weather forecast for the proposed day(s) and make recommendations regarding their suitability. Work should be programmed in such a way as to reduce the risk of heat stress. Sufficient numbers of workers should be engaged to allow rotation of workers in periods of heat.
Concrete Pours. After a schedule is agreed to as indicated above, and with particular reference to concrete pours, it is each individual subcontractor’s responsibility to make certain he has properly set all anchors, embedded items, sleeves, chases, elevation changes etc., in ample time so as not to delay the pour. It is also the subcontractor’s responsibility to protect his work in or on the forms during concrete placing, including, if necessary, having one or more men present during the concrete pouring and finishing operations.
Concrete Pours. Repositioning, retying, or replacing any reinforcing rods that may become displaced during the concrete pouring operations of footings, walls, slabs, and floors in bridge construction and other reinforced concrete structures shall be performed by Iron Workers. Re-positioning wire mesh in concrete floors or slabs during the concrete pouring operations will be performed by Iron Workers where Iron Workers have installed the mesh.

  • Reactive Power 1.8.1 The Interconnection Customer shall design its Small Generating Facility to maintain a composite power delivery at continuous rated power output at the Point of Interconnection at a power factor within the range established by the Connecting Transmission Owner on a comparable basis, until NYISO has established different requirements that apply to all similarly situated generators in the New York Control Area on a comparable basis. 1.8.2 The NYISO is required to pay the Interconnection Customer for reactive power, or voltage support service, that the Interconnection Customer provides from the Small Generating Facility in accordance with Rate Schedule 2 of the NYISO Services Tariff.

  • Crane Erection & Jumping (a) Cranes and man/material hoists may be erected, altered, climbed and dismantled during times when ordinary production works are in progress subject to the work being done in full compliance with a relevant operational safety zone (OSZ) plan which has been developed specifically for that operation with consideration to overall site safety. (b) The crane crew for each tower crane (Crane Crew) must consist of the following: (i) crane driver; and (ii) three (3) dogmen. (c) In addition to the appropriate tickets held by the crane driver and the dogmen, the following high risk licences must be held amongst the Crane Crew: (i) rigging; and (ii) material handling. (d) Where a Project consists of a single Crane Crew, the Employer should endeavour to ensure another member of the Crane Crew holds a crane driver licence.

  • Advertisement on Project Highway The Project Highway or any part thereof shall not be used in any manner to advertise any commercial product or services.

  • Walls 12 Developer shall provide rustication patterns on all walls, except drainage headwalls, in Aesthetic 13 Area 3 in accordance with Exhibit L2.24 of the LAADCR. The final designs shall resemble these 14 simulations.

Roof would be finished with roof tiles.
