LIMITED DURATION APPOINTMENT Section 1. Persons may be hired for special studies or projects of uncertain or limited duration which are subject to the continuation of a grant, contract, award, or legislative funding for a specific project. Such appointments shall be for a stated period not exceeding two (2) years, except extended by legislative or Emergency Board action. Such appointment shall expire upon termination of the special study or projects.
CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT 5.1 In acting under this Agreement and in connection with the Relevant Notes, the Calculation Agent shall act solely as an agent of the Issuer and will not assume any obligations towards or relationship of agency or trust for or with any of the owners or holders of the Relevant Notes or the coupons (if any) appertaining to the Relevant Notes (the Coupons).
Term Appointments 16.3.4.1 A Term appointment carries no implication of renewal or continuation beyond the contractually limited term. A person holding a Term appointment may apply for a Probationary or Continuing appointment if such a position is available.
Terms of Appointment Subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement, the Fund hereby employs and appoints RPS to perform the services and functions described herein in connection with certain Retirement Plan and Retirement Accounts as agreed upon by the parties.
Appointment and Termination of Appointment Issuer may at any time appoint additional or alternative agents to provide the service(s) to be provided by the Global Agent hereunder. Issuer may terminate the appointment of the Global Agent or any part of such agency or any other agent by giving to the Global Agent or that agent at least 30 calendar days' written notice to that effect. Issuer may replace the Global Agent in any of its roles hereunder and appoint one or more other authenticating agents, paying agents, transfer agents, registrar or calculation agents for any issuance of the Notes as Issuer may determine; provided, however, that until all of the Notes have been delivered to the Global Agent for cancellation and destruction, or monies sufficient to pay the principal and interest, if any, on such Notes have been made available for payment and either paid or returned to Issuer as provided herein, Issuer will at all times maintain a paying agent; and, if and for so long as any Notes are listed on any stock exchange, Issuer shall maintain a paying agent for such Notes at any location such stock exchange may require.
Emergency Appointments Absence from work to attend emergency medical or dental appointments and medical appointments arising from a work related accident covered by Workers' Compensation, shall be paid for from the employee's accumulated sick leave.
Letters of Appointment Letters of appointment of members shall be issued by the President or designate. Such letters of appointment shall be consistent with the articles of this Agreement, and shall include:
Initial Appointments The Company appoints the Trustee as the initial Paying Agent, the initial Registrar and the initial Conversion Agent.
EFFECTIVE DATE AND DURATION OF AGREEMENT Subject to ratification by the parties: This Agreement shall be effective from the 1st day of January, 2020 November, 2015 and shall be valid until the 31st day of December, 2024, and thereafter from year to year unless a written notice is given by either party within the period of four months immediately preceding the date of expiration of the term of the Collective Agreement, of their desire to terminate this Agreement or negotiate a revision thereof, in which case this Agreement shall remain in effect without prejudice to any retroactive clause of a new Agreement until negotiations for revision or amendments hereto have been concluded and a new Agreement superseding this Agreement has been duly executed. The amendments to the Collective Agreement, unless otherwise agreed, are effective upon the date of ratification by the parties. SCHEDULE A Employees shall be paid in the following salary ranges according to the salary grade. An employee’s pay level within the range for the employee’s salary grade will be determined based on the employee’s demonstrated performance. The parties recognize the salary ranges and the salary paid to individual employees are minimums. In the event of job reclassification, employees will be moved into the appropriate salary grade and be paid in accordance with the corresponding salary range. In cases where employees are being paid a wage/salary below that of the new salary range, they shall be brought up to the minimum of the new salary range. In cases where employees are being paid a wage/salary above that of the new salary range, their salary shall be red circled until such time as their wage/salary is within the salary range, however, they will be provided with a lump sum payment in lieu of their annual wage/salary increase. Those employees who have been trained pursuant to the Company’s “Train the Trainer” Program, shall receive an additional one hundred dollars ($100.00) per day, when facilitating scheduled Divisional Operational Training. The Company reserves the right to implement employee retention programs, share purchase programs, incentive plans and market supplement programs in its sole and absolute discretion. Duration of Appointment The Employment shall be deemed to have commenced on the Commencement Date and shall continue unless terminated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement.
