Construction Training and Advancement Foundation Sample Clauses

Construction Training and Advancement Foundation. The Employer will contribute sixteen cents (16¢) per hour for each payroll hour on commercial and industrial construction for each employee covered by this Agreement to the Construction Training and Advancement Foundation. The reporting, payment and administration of such contribution shall be governed by the terms of the Trust Agreement creating the Foundation and the rules and regulations adopted thereunder. Primary purposes of the Foundation, as set forth in the Trust Agreement, shall include apprenticeship training, advanced training and education, safety education and other educational and informational programs for employee and industry betterment. Provisions of this Section shall remain in effect until one year beyond the expiration of this contract. Foundation shall not be used for lobbying in support of anti-labor legislation of any kind at municipal, state or national levels or to subsidize any contractor or contractor association in connection with any work stoppage or strike or to pay Employer expenses in connection with the negotiation of labor agreements.

Construction Training and Advancement Foundation. In addition to the per hour wage rate, the Employer shall contribute eighteen cents ($.20) per hour for each actual hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement to the Construction Training and Advancement Foundation. Employer shall encourage their laborer employees to take full advantage of all training, education and information offered through or by the Fund. Primary purposes of the Foundation, as set forth in the Trust Agreement, shall include apprenticeship training, advanced training and education, safety education and other educational and informational programs for employee and industry betterment. This Section shall remain in effect and not subject to renegotiation for one (1) year after the termination of this contract.

  • Training and Technical Assistance COALITION will notify PROVIDER of the availability of training, technical assistance, and other targeted assistance in support of the provision of quality VPK services. COALITION will offer technical assistance for providers on probation. The technical assistance will be designed to facilitate the development and implementation of an improvement plan. The technical assistance will be offered in a manner and schedule prescribed by the COALITION or school district.

  • DEVELOPMENT OR ASSISTANCE IN DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS/ STATEMENTS OF WORK Firms and/or individuals that assisted in the development or drafting of the specifications, requirements, statements of work, or solicitation documents contained herein are excluded from competing for this solicitation.
