CONTRACTING OUT FOR SERVICES. 15.12.1 During the term of this Agreement, the District agrees that it will not contract out work that has been customarily and routinely performed or is performable by unit members covered by this Agreement unless the contracting proposed is specifically permitted by law. This section shall not be interpreted as prohibiting the District from contracting out work under this section if such work cannot be performed by unit members because of current departmental work demands or because of the compelling nature of the situation. The Administration shall notify CSEA of this decision as soon as possible.
CONTRACTING OUT FOR SERVICES. The District agrees that there will be no subcontracting for custodial services, but reserves the right to subcontract for other services when deemed to be in the best interest of the District. The District shall notify the Association in writing no less than forty (40) days prior to Board action regarding the subcontracting of any services traditionally or historically provided by members of the unit. Thereafter, the District shall meet and negotiate with the Association upon request to consider Association input on the impact on unit members of the subcontracting for services.

SECTION 48.1 The Township agrees that, during the term of this agreement, both parties will agree to discuss/review any potential for the loss of service to a private contractor, for which the Bloom Township Fire Department or its employees currently provide. All attempts possible will be made to retain these services within the Bloom Township Fire Department.

Section 29.1 Pleasant Township agrees that, during the term of this Agreement, both parties will agree to discuss/review any potential for the loss of service to a private contractor, for which Pleasant Township Fire Department or its employees currently provide. All attempts possible will be made to retain these services within Pleasant Township.

Section 35.1 The Township agrees that both parties will agree to discuss/review any potential for the loss of services to a private contractor, for which the Violet Township Fire Department or its employees currently provide. All attempts possible will be made to retain these services within the Violet Township Fire Department.
CONTRACTING OUT FOR SERVICES. SECTION 31.1 Basil Joint Fire District agrees that, during the term of this agreement, both parties will agree to discuss/review any potential for the loss of service to a private contractor, for which Basil Joint Fire District or its employees currently provide. All attempts possible will be made to retain these services within Basil Joint Fire District Fire District. It is understood that “in the event of a Mass Casualty Event or a time when resources require the use of a contracted response” the County policy for such incidents calls for the use of some of the local private services during a disaster.
