CONTRACTING OUT FOR SERVICES. 15.12.1 During the term of this Agreement, the District agrees that it will not contract out work that has been customarily and routinely performed or is performable by unit members covered by this Agreement unless the contracting proposed is specifically permitted by law. This section shall not be interpreted as prohibiting the District from contracting out work under this section if such work cannot be performed by unit members because of current departmental work demands or because of the compelling nature of the situation. The Administration shall notify CSEA of this decision as soon as possible.

CONTRACTING OUT FOR SERVICES. The District agrees that there will be no subcontracting for custodial services, but reserves the right to subcontract for other services when deemed to be in the best interest of the District. The District shall notify the Association in writing no less than forty (40) days prior to Board action regarding the subcontracting of any services traditionally or historically provided by members of the unit. Thereafter, the District shall meet and negotiate with the Association upon request to consider Association input on the impact on unit members of the subcontracting for services.

All attempts possible will be made to retain these services within Basil Joint Fire District Fire District. It is understood that “in the event of a Mass Casualty Event or a time when resources require the use of a contracted response” the County policy for such incidents calls for the use of some of the local private services during a disaster.

  • Contract for Services The parties intend this Agreement to be a contract for the provision of services and not a contract for the sale of goods. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the provisions of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), the Uniform Computer Information Transaction Act (UCITA), the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, and any substantially similar legislation as may be enacted, shall not apply to this Agreement.

  • Request for Services Customer shall make an appointment with Exasol for Operational Services and coordinate the scope of the services with Exasol. The appointment must be made at least three Business Days for small to medium tasks (less than 0.5 days effort) and 15 Business Days for large tasks (more than 0.5 days effort) before the planned service actions.

  • Payment for Services Contractor shall exert reasonable and diligent efforts to collect prompt payment from the Commonwealth. Contractor shall pay Subcontractor in proportion to amounts received from the Commonwealth which are attributable to the Services performed by Subcontractor.
