Contractor Security Clearance Clause Samples
The Contractor Security Clearance clause establishes the requirement for contractors to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearances before accessing sensitive information or secure work sites. In practice, this means that contractors must undergo background checks and be approved by relevant authorities prior to commencing work, and may be restricted from certain tasks if clearances are not granted or maintained. This clause ensures that only authorized personnel handle confidential or classified materials, thereby protecting the security interests of the contracting party and complying with legal or regulatory obligations.
