Convenience of Employer. The assignment of job classifications to positions held by employees shall not limit the scope and nature of their duties, except as provided below. Any employee who for the convenience of the Employer is temporarily reclassified to another job for which the rate of pay is different from that in effect for such employee's regular job shall be paid, while so employed, as follows: If the rate of pay for the job is less than the employee's regular rate of pay, the employee shall receive their own higher rate of pay; If the rate of pay for the job is higher than the employee's regular rate of pay and if the reclassification is for more than five (5) working days, the employee shall receive the minimum rate of the position being filled or one increment in their category higher than their present rate, whichever is the higher, for that period of time so employed. A reclassification for the convenience of the Employer may only be done with the consent of the employee.

  • USE OF EMPLOYER FACILITIES 8.01 Reasonable space on bulletin boards will be made available to the Alliance for the posting of official notices, in convenient locations determined by the Employer and the Alliance.
