Conversion to Vacation. (a) Employees who use no sick leave during the twelve (12) months following the last anniversary of their date of hire may convert up to forty (40) hours (prorated based on number of hours regularly worked) of their sick leave to vacation. Employees wishing to convert sick leave to vacation shall submit a request in writing to Human Resources within the thirty (30) days following the anniversary of their date of hire.
Conversion to Vacation. Employees may convert accumulated sick days in excess of one-hundred twenty (120) days on the basis of two (2) sick days for one (1) vacation day by notifying Human Resources in writing with a copy to the Sheriff.
