Core Holidays. A. Eligible employees receive six (6) Core Holidays each year observed on the following dates: ▪ New Year’s Day (January 1) ▪ Memorial Day (Last Monday in May) ▪ Independence Day (July 4) ▪ Labor Day (First Monday in September) ▪ Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in November) ▪ Christmas Day (December 25) B. Holidays falling on a Saturday will be observed on the preceding Friday. Holidays falling on a Sunday will be observed on Monday.
