Council Responsibility. 8.1 The Council will monitor contract performance and delivery through measures including but not limited to:
Council Responsibility.  The Council will provide a framework for the recording of relevant service information for the purposes of audit and the claiming of payment.  The Council will provide up to date details of other services which Pharmacy staff can use to refer service users who require further assistance. The information will include the location, hours of opening and services provided by each service provider (see appendix 2).  The Council will be responsible for the promotion of the service locally.  The Council will be responsible for the provision of health promotion material, including leaflets on EHC, long-term contraception and STIs to pharmacies. Quality Indicators  Pharmacies will offer a user-friendly, non-judgmental, client-centred and confidential service.  Pharmacies will offer a service that is welcoming to young people.  The part of the Pharmacy used for provision of the service provides a sufficient level of privacy (a consultation room).  Inclusion and exclusion criteria, which are detailed in the PGDs, will be applied during provision of the service. Other appropriate reference sources will be utilised where appropriate  The service will be provided in compliance with Fraser guidance and Department of Health guidance on confidential sexual health advice and treatment for young people aged under 16 and local child and vulnerable adult protection guidelines.  The Pharmacy will ensure that pharmacists and staff involved in the provision of the service have relevant knowledge and are appropriately trained in the operation of the service, including sensitive, client centred communication skills and accreditation as set out in the SLA. All pharmacists providing this service must be accredited and accreditation notified to the Council for each individual pharmacist.  It is the responsibility of the contractor to hold evidence of accreditation for audit purposes.  The Pharmacy endeavours to ensure that pharmacists and staff involved in the provision of the service are aware of and operate within local protocols.  The Pharmacy has any appropriate Council provided health promotion material available for the client group and actively promotes its uptake and discusses the contents of the material with the client, where appropriate.  The Pharmacy reviews its standard operating procedures and the referral pathways for the service on an annual basis.  The Pharmacy participates in any annual Council organised audit of service provision.  The Pharmacy co-o...

  • General Responsibilities Issuer hereby engages Distributor to act as exclusive distributor of the shares of each class of the Funds.
