Course Structures. Courses at Camden Art Centre give participants the opportunity to learn new skills and techniques. The course you will be attending has been designed by an experienced tutor who will determine content, structure and amount of work that can be achieved within the time frame of the course. By booking on a course you are agreeing to follow the structure as planned by the tutor and as disseminated on the first day of the course. Repeat attendance Participants are able to book and attend as many courses as they choose as part of the programme, unless otherwise stated. This includes attending the same course more than once. However, please do consider progression and ability levels as detailed below. Ceramics: Progression and Ability Levels Please book onto the appropriate level course for your ability. Recommended experience levels are suggested within the course description. Age Restrictions Adults’ courses are 18+ unless otherwise stated. Course Structures what works best, and what doesn’t work The documentation reviewed ranged from training modules designs to questionnaires. What became apparent was that when seeking information for oneself, there is often the problem of not knowing enough about a field of study to realise what areas need to be covered. Without some manner of guidance, be it through a self-timed course of study, a partially-guided course like a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), or fully guided courses such as workshops, summer schools or programmes that lead to some manner of qualification, the student can easily miss something of importance, or deliberately miss something out if they are finding it too difficult to grasp. Put simply, people ‘don’t know what they don’t know’. This can be true of the humanist trying to work out how to write and implement a piece of code, or it could equally be true of a computer scientist trying to understand policy developments surrounding archive cataloguing techniques. Therefore, self-guided study may not be the best technique for initial training purposes if the intention is for the student to gain an in-depth knowledge of the issues at hand, although it may be useful as a means of an introduction. So, the ideal might be a fully guided course of study. This doesn’t work for most people within our audience types however, as nearly all of them, bar the full- time undergraduate or postgraduate students, have other time-commitments associated with their work. The ‘Policy and Decision Makers’ (aka The Executives) are the least likely to engage in a full-time short course or workshop, and therefore need something precise and accessible that they can interact with quickly and easily.

The course will only go ahead if the minimum participant requirement for the course to run is met. If the course does not go ahead, bookings will be fully refunded. We will aim to notify all participants at least one week in advance of any cancellations, when possible.

  • Governance Structure The Academy shall be organized and administered as a Michigan nonprofit corporation under the direction of the Academy Board and pursuant to the governance structure as set forth in the Bylaws. The Academy’s Board of Directors shall meet monthly unless another schedule is mutually agreed upon by the President and the Academy. The Academy shall not delegate this duty of organization and administration of the Academy without the express affirmative consent of the University.

  • Agreement Structure 2.1 An “Agreement” hereunder shall consist of this Master Agreement, the Schedule, and their applicable attachments and represents the complete and exclusive agreement between the Parties regarding the subject matter of the Schedule, and replaces any prior oral or written communications between the Parties relating thereto. Each Lease is effective when the Schedule containing such Lease is executed by the Parties thereto.

  • Emergency Schedule Changes The Employer may adjust an overtime-eligible employee’s workweek and work schedule without prior notice in emergencies or unforeseen operational needs.
