Common use of Court-Required Service Clause in Contracts

Court-Required Service. A regular employee who has completed the probationary period, who is summoned and reports for jury duty as prescribed by applicable law, or who is served with a subpoena to appear in court and is not a party to the action or is not appearing as a witness against the University will be provided release time from the employee's regular work (but not in excess of regularly scheduled hours missed as a result of appearance in court).
