CREDIT HOUR TEACHING LOAD AND OVERLOADS. ‌ Each faculty member normally shall have a teaching load of not less than 24 nor more than 38 credit hours over a three semester appointment. Any teaching load in excess of the above 24 credit hour limit, during the basic two (2) semester appointment, shall be compensated for either by banking the hours as in D 4.6 or by payment at the rate of $950 per credit hour. Payment for any credit hour overload shall be made as soon as possible following the official winter term count. No overload shall be scheduled for any faculty member without his or her consent and advance notification to the Association; no overload in excess of three (3) credit hours will be scheduled without Association and the faculty member's consent.

  • Teaching Loads The range of teaching loads, number of preparations and number of pupil contacts required should provide for effective instruction and meaningful teacher-student interaction. DPS and the Association agree to work together to seek increased state funding to decrease class size. The principal shall report to the CSC, after the roster verification process, the number of students in each class and this will be published in the CSC minutes on the school’s website. For the purposes of this section, a “class” shall be defined as any general education, including electives and model one classes. Upon request, after the roster verification process, the District shall provide the Association with the student information management system data regarding class enrollment.

  • Overload Teaching Paragraph 1: Overload teaching is that teaching conducted by a full-time classroom teacher teaching daily in a vacant position during his/her planning period.

  • Teaching Load Full teaching assignments shall normally include 12 course credit hours of scheduled teaching per academic quarter. A reassignment of duty, for the equivalent of 3 or 4 credit course, shall be provided during one term of the first academic year to all newly hired tenure track faculty to further their teaching, scholarship and service and to encourage faculty retention. Wherever possible the University will endeavor to arrange teaching schedules that avoid excessive numbers of preparations and recognize evening and/or off-campus assignments. Class sizes will be established and monitored by the appropriate academic xxxx in consultation with division chairs and affected faculty each term. The following equivalencies will be used in determining teaching assignments:

  • Credit Hours Credit hours are hours that an employee elects to work, with supervisory approval, in excess of the employees basic work requirement under a flexible work schedule. Credit hours may only be accrued under a flexible work schedule. Employees must notify their direct supervisor of their intent to earn credit hours and the duties to be performed at least four (4) hours in advance of the time. Management will respond and approve the credit hours if the work is assigned duties that could not have been performed during a normal tour of duty. Credit hours used are considered hours worked.

  • IMPACT ON CURRENT SERVICES (OR PROJECTS) There will be no negative impact on current County services or projects during the performance of the recommended services.

  • Credit for Project Work In order to compensate PURCHASER for project work that PURCHASER agrees to complete under the section titled, “Project Work,” of this contract, STATE agrees to credit PURCHASER’s timber account in the sum of $46,657 upon completion of and STATE’s acceptance of all work, unless otherwise approved in writing by STATE.   • TEACHING HOURS AND TEACHING LOAD A. As professionals, teachers are expected to devote to their assignments the time necessary to meet their responsibilities, but they shall not be required to “clock in or clock out” by hours and minutes. Teachers shall indicate their presence for duty by placing their signature and time in the proper column of the faculty “sign-in” roster.

  • TEACHING FACILITIES 4.1 The Board agrees to maintain health and safety conditions at each school site in compliance with applicable statutes and/or regulations. Teachers shall not be required to work under unsafe conditions as determined by proper regulatory authority.

  • Verizon OSS Facilities Any gateways, interfaces, databases, facilities, equipment, software, or systems, used by Verizon to provide Verizon OSS Services to CBB.

  • COMMITMENT OF THE PARTIES By signing9 this document, the teaching staff member, the sending institution/enterprise and the receiving institution confirm that they approve the proposed mobility agreement. The sending higher education institution supports the staff mobility as part of its modernisation and internationalisation strategy and will recognise it as a component in any evaluation or assessment of the teaching staff member. The teaching staff member will share his/her experience, in particular its impact on his/her professional development and on the sending higher education institution, as a source of inspiration to others. The teaching staff member and the beneficiary institution commit to the requirements set out in the grant agreement signed between them. The teaching staff member and the receiving institution will communicate to the sending institution/enterprise any problems or changes regarding the proposed mobility programme or mobility period. An additional space will be added for signature of the Programme Country HEI organising the mobility. For invited staff from enterprises to teach in Programme Country HEIs, it will be sufficient with the signature of the staff member, the Programme Country HEI and the sending organisation (three signatures in total, same as in mobility between Programme Countries).
