THE ACADEMIC DAY. ‌ The academic day shall be those hours of the day between which classes are normally scheduled even though no classes are actually scheduled at any given hour on any given day. There shall, however, be no classes scheduled to begin before 7:30 a.m. or to end after 11:00 p.m. without the consent of the faculty member involved. The consent of the faculty member and the Association shall be required before scheduling classes that end at 11:00 p.m. The Association, however, may not refuse against the faculty member's wishes. No faculty member scheduled to teach until 11:00 p.m. shall have obligations that begin before 11:00 a.m. the following day without his or her prior written consent. Further, no full-time faculty member (including those on reduced load) shall be scheduled to teach during the interval from 4:00 - 5:30

THE ACADEMIC DAY. The academic day for full-time faculty members shall be from 6:30 a.m. until 12 a.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday. Faculty members may be scheduled outside of the normal academic day only with the written consent of the faculty member. A work day will be considered 5.1 clock hours for MPSERS reporting purposes only; therefore, payroll retirement reporting will differ from actual time worked. Faculty time off will be calculated and reported as follows: Full-time faculty scheduled to work (e.g., class time, committee meeting, office hours, advising, or other duties as noted in job description) and who wish to take personal time off should do so by noting how many hours the Member would be missing assigned work time based on an eight (8) hour work day. Time off will be reported in four (4) hour blocks.

  • ETU Picnic Day In accordance with picnic day provision the Company shall require from an employee proof of picnic day attendance, ie ETU ticket purchase before payment will be made for the day. A ticket purchased in relation to an alternative union picnic day is not sufficient for the purposes of payment. Where possible no work shall be scheduled on the first Monday of December each year which is the Annual Building Industry Picnic Day.

  • PRICING OF After Hours Coefficient What is your after hours coefficient for the RS Means Price Book for work performed after normal working hours? Remember that this is a ceiling price proposed. You can discount to any TIPS Member customer a lower coefficient than your proposed contract coefficient, but not higher.
