Crisis Intervention Teams. The need for a Crisis Intervention Team due to death of a student and/or school-based employee constitutes a short notice event. When requested, up to Two (2) student support staff from SBBC will respond to the crisis to provide school-wide support and facilitate group and individual counseling. Crisis Intervention Team services will be provided at a flat fee of One Thousand Dollars ($1000) per day. Additional staff may be requested at the hourly rate per staff member per day.

Crisis Intervention Teams a. Unit members that are required to become certified in nonviolent intervention training in order to respond to students in crisis shall be provided training before being expected to use nonviolent intervention methods. Unit members who require recertification shall be given multiple opportunities for recertification prior to the expiration of the certification. If the training is offered in the summer, and required, it will be designated as Tier 1 training.

  • Early Intervention Services (EIS) In accordance with Rhode Island General Law §27-20-50, this agreement provides coverage for Early Intervention Service. Early Intervention Services are educational, developmental, health, and social services provided to children from birth to thirty-six (36) months. The children must have been certified by the Rhode Island Department of Human Services to enroll in an approved Early Intervention Services program. Services must be provided by a licensed Early Intervention provider and rendered to a Rhode Island resident. We cover Early Intervention Services as defined by the Rhode Island Department of Human Services including, but not limited to, the following: • speech and language therapy; • physical and occupational therapy; • evaluation; • case management; • nutrition; • service plan development and review; • nursing services; and • assistive technology services and devices.   • Contractor’s Project Manager and Key Personnel Contractor shall appoint a Project Manager to direct the Contractor’s efforts in fulfilling Contractor’s obligations under this Contract. This Project Manager shall be subject to approval by the County and shall not be changed without the written consent of the County’s Project Manager, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. The Contractor’s Project Manager shall be assigned to this project for the duration of the Contract and shall diligently pursue all work and services to meet the project time lines. The County’s Project Manager shall have the right to require the removal and replacement of the Contractor’s Project Manager from providing services to the County under this Contract. The County’s Project manager shall notify the Contractor in writing of such action. The Contractor shall accomplish the removal within five (5) business days after written notice by the County’s Project Manager. The County’s Project Manager shall review and approve the appointment of the replacement for the Contractor’s Project Manager.
