Interventions definition

Interventions include all calls to members or prescribers to clarify the prescriber's direction, to obtain consent for generic or therapeutic substitution, or otherwise. Guarantee --------- Provider places 33.3 percent of the dispensing fee at risk, if performance is below the stated standard for one full day or more.
Interventions means the following set of new preventive measures that were introduced beginning with the 1993 FDA Food Code. The interventions are:

Three new items measuring teachers’ knowledge of the symptoms of dyscalculia such as difficulties in comparing quantities (Kosc, 1974), memorizing multiplication tables (Xxxxxxxx, 2013), and difficulties with concentrating on math lessons (Xxxxxx et al., 2018; Xxxxxx et al., 2018) were also added based on the reView of the literature (Appendix C). Finally, the third part of the questionnaire focusing on the methods of interVentions was entirely changed. The authors of the original surVey instrument suggested adding new items to this part of the questionnaire to haVe a deeper understanding of teachers’ knowledge of the interVention methods (Xxxxx et al., 2017). Nine new items measuring teachers’ knowledge of the interVentions were added based on the reView of the literature. These items include the following methods: structured lessons beginning with more concrete and moVing to abstract concepts, motiVating children by acknowledging and praising them (Ise & Xxxxxxx-Xxxxx, 2013, as cited in Xxxxxx & Xxx Xxxxx, 2015), improVing reading and listening comprehension skills (Xxxxxxxxx & Xxxxx, 2014; Trott, 2003), using postcards (Xxxxx, 2003), working in small groups (Ise & Xxxxxxx-Xxxxx, 2013, as cited in Xxxxxx & Xxx Xxxxx, 2015; Monei & Xxxxx, 2017), stimulating memory, proViding physical and hands-on actiVities, training executiVe functions by teaching students to be organized, as well as stimulating attentional control by proViding Visual and auditory aids (Xxxxxxxxx & Xxxxx, 2014) (see Appendix C for detailed information about the changes in the items of the questionnaire).
Interventions means the IPS services being provided to Program Participants as described in Schedule 1 (Operating Responsibilities).
