Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement, the CPE equipment is fully owned and operated by the Customer. The CPE will enable the Customer to access the Optical Wavelength Services.
Customer Premise Equipment. Communications Services may require Customer-premise equipment. If required, Spectrum will supply such equipment for so long as Customer remains a Communications Service Customer. Depending on the Communications Service plan, there may be a monthly charge for the equipment. Upon termination of Communications Service for any reason, Customer shall return the Spectrum-supplied equipment within thirty (30) days or Customer will be charged an equipment fee equal to the fee charged by Spectrum at the time the equipment was supplied by Spectrum. An exception to this return policy is when the equipment is also supporting Internet service, in which case Customer may continue to use the equipment until such time as Internet is no longer provided or Spectrum requests a substitution of the equipment.
Customer Premise Equipment. Staging and Configuration PSI is responsible for pre-configuring the CPE before delivery to the customer sites and remotely configuring the CPE after it is connected to the network. PSI remotely assists the customer's technical liaison in the installation of the premises equipment at each Intranet WAN site. Customer Premise Equipment. As part of a Managed service we will provide a managed router which will act as a termination device for the Ethernet circuit, it will not provide any security features or threat management. It is exclusively owned by Computercentric and is to be returned upon termination of the service, where a new router is required as a result of an upgrade or where is has been replaced following a fault. The specific model will vary depending on the bandwidth and service type ordered, therefore it may or may not be rack mountable and dimensions will vary. The router model we will provide can be confirmed in advance of an order being placed if required. We aim to deliver the router to you prior to the circuit handover date, and will contact you to advise it has been shipped so that you can arrange for it to be connected/ installed when applicable. We will replace the router during the term of the contract in the event it has been confirmed as having a fault or where a different model is required due to an upgrade - however you are liable for the cost of replacing the router during the term of the contract for any reason other than a confirmed fault or upgrade requirement. Where Wires-only has been selected, we will not provide a router and therefore you will need to ensure you have a suitable device ready in anticipation of the handover date.
