Daily and Weekly Hours of Work. For employees participating in the extended shift schedule, Article 14.01 Daily and Weekly Hours of Work is amended to read as follows: The average regular work week for full-time employees will be thirty-seven and one-half (37.5) hours averaged over 6 weeks for a total of two- hundred and twenty-five (225) hours. The regular work day will be eleven and one quarter (11.25) hours excluding an unpaid meal period.

The regular work day will be eleven and one quarter (11.25) hours excluding an hour unpaid meal periodperiod which shall be uninterrupted except in cases of emergency. (b) The changing of Daylight Time to Eastern Time or vice versa shall not be the cause of paying more or less than the normal scheduled daily rates during the week in which such change takes place.
