Demonstration Project. 3.1 Both Parties acknowledge that it is important for the SMB: (a) to expeditiously launch and successfully perform the MDDP, at which the Parties can demonstrate to the Customer in the Territory the feasibility of the Program in a local combustion unit environment, and, (b) to use that experience to refine the Parties' relationship to explore the future potential business opportunity of providing the Program to Customers in the Territory on an anticipated joint venture or other teaming arrangement basis.

Demonstration Project. The first implementation step of the Four Mile Run Restoration Project Master Plan has been coined the “Demonstration Project”. This Project is described in general terms beginning on page 90 of the Master Plan (March 2006). The Demonstration Project will be funded from a variety of federal and local sources. Management of this demonstration project is the focus of this Memorandum of Agreement.
